The following terms and conditions are for any purchase made from FineOrient Limited.
It is essential that the buyer also reads
and accepts our shipping policies that
relate to the sales of personalised goods
and other items.
Business Policies
Orders made by Consumers are subject to English Law.
Any orders placed are subject to the terms and conditions that are listed below. Your Statutory rights as a consumer are not effected by these terms and conditions, either written or implied.
Standard conditions of sale
1. Definitions
- The buyer means the person who has bought or agreed to buy the goods from FineOrient Limited.
- Any conditions referred to for the sale means the terms and conditions set out in this document and the web site.
- There is a separate terms and conditions that relate to the personalised products.
- "Products" means the goods that are specified on the web site.
- "Price" means the price for the products including those prices for framed and unframed products. All cost include carriage, packaging and VAT unless otherwise stated.
- "Seller" means FineOrient Limited.
- "Delivery Date" means the date specified by FineOrient Limited when the goods are to be delivered.
- "Consumer" is that as defined in Section 12 of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977.
2. Consumer Rights
- Nothing in these terms and conditions of FineOrient Limited shall effect the Buyers Statutory rights as a consumer.
- The price for the goods are those stated on the web site but these may be subject to correction without any liability on the part of the seller.
- FineOrient Limited offers the goods to the Buyer in accordance with the written quotation of FineOrient Limited. The Buyer accepts these but is not limited to orders placed on the Sellers website. Any acceptance, written or verbal will be made in accordance with the above terms and conditions.
- Any provisions made that are judged invalid or unenforceable, in whole or in part, does not invalidate the other provisions of the terms and conditions.
- FineOrient Limited have indicated the delivery times on the company's web site.
If they are unable to deliver the goods, The Buyer will be refunded or re-credited in full the amounts to their account. FineOrient Limited will notify the Buyer at the address given on the order form.
The refund will be made immediately FineOrient Limited are informed the non-delivery of the goods but will not be obliged to offer any compensation for non-delivery.
- The consumer has every protection under English law for any goods offered for sale.
- The Buyer must notify FineOrient Limited immediately on delivery of any defects in the product.
- Personalised products that use Photographs as a basis for producing Silk Embroidered Portraits will be retained by FineOrient Limited until acceptance is given by the Buyer.
- FineOrient Limited has the right to make copies of these photographs and retain them for six years.
