Shipping Policy
FineOrient Limited sells
goods under the Current e-commerce legislation
and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling)
Regulations 2000.
Ordering of Goods
FineOrient Limited has given the clearest description it can on the goods it has placed on the web site. If you are unclear on any product description, delivery time or price quoted then please ring customer support on 0113 2785000 during the hours of 9.00 am and 5.30pm Mondays to Fridays.
Prices of goods advertised on the website
Prices of goods include Vat and all other taxation. Delivery of unframed goods is free in the UK.
FineOrient Limited only supply unframed goods to all countries.
Confirmation of Order
After making the purchase the consumer will be sent confirmation by e-mail within 24 hours if the order is made by e-mail. For those orders made by fax, telephone or letter, then FineOrient Limited will notify the customer within 48 hours of the order being placed.
Delivery times
The time for delivery for each product is specified on the web site. For more personalised products this may take up to 12 weeks.
Our staff will notify the customer two weeks in advance of the actual delivery date.
Cooling off period
The customer has 14 working days to cancel the order for non-personalised products. Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Variations in the cooling off period
Due to the artistic nature of the personalised products, once the order is placed FineOrient Limited can only offer back 50% of the selling price in all situations and this must be notified within 14 days of placing the order.
Cancellation
The customer must notify FineOrient Limited at its registered trading address in writing either by E-mail, fax or letter within 14 days of delivery that it wishes to cancel the order.
The goods will be collected by FineOrient Limited at the address that the goods were sent to. Until the goods have been handed back to FineOrient the customer is under an obligation to ensure that the goods are kept safe and in the same condition as they were delivered in with a duty to return the goods to FineOrient.
The customer will not be refunded any initial delivery charge that FineOrient Limited makes on a cancelled order.
Refunds of money
FineOrient will reimburse any customer who is not satisfied with the goods within 30 days of return.
Non Delivery of goods
If FineOrient Limited is unable to meet the deadline for the recovery of the goods, then it will inform the customer as soon as possible but no later than 7days before the deadline delivery date.
It is open to FineOrient to offer substitute
goods if this is possible and the consumer
will be notified in writing of this. The
regulations do not affect any rights the
consumer has to claim for non-performance
under general contract law.
If the consumer does not agree then the contract is cancelled and any monies paid will be returned within 30days.
FineOrient Limited does not use premium rate telephone numbers.
Payment
FineOrient Limited accepts Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Switch card, solo card, JCB, Maestro, American Express and Diners Club card.
FineOrient Limited does not accept cash orders but will accept orders made by cheque.
