Shipping & Returns Policy

Fine Orient Limited sells goods under the Current e-commerce legislation and the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 as amended.

Ordering of Goods

Fine Orient Limited has given the clearest description it can on the goods it has placed on the web site. If you are unclear on any product description, delivery time or price quoted then please ring customer support on 0113 2785000 during the hours of 9.00 am and 5.30pm Mondays to Fridays.

Prices of goods advertised on the website

Prices of goods include Vat and all other taxation. All goods are delivered free in the UK and overseas.

If the purchase is from overseas then the purchaser will not be able to claim any exemption from VAT.

Confirmation of Order

After making the order the consumer will be sent confirmation of the order by e-mail within 24 hours if the order is made by e-mail. For those orders made by fax, telephone or letter, then Fine Orient Limited will notify the customer within 24 hours of the order being placed.

Delivery times

The time for delivery for each product is specified on the web site and is usually within 2-3 working days.

For more personalised products this may take up to 6 weeks. Our staff will notify the customer two weeks in advance of the actual delivery date.

Cooling off period

The customer has 14 working days to cancel the order for non-personalised products. Working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Variations in the cooling off period

Due to the artistic nature of the personalised products, once the order is placed Fine Orient Limited can only offer back 50% of the selling price in all situations and this must be notified within 14 days of placing the order.

Cancellation

The customer must notify Fine Orient Limited at its registered trading address in writing either by E-mail, fax or letter within 14 days of delivery that it wishes to cancel the order.

The customer should send the goods back to Fine Orient Limited. The customer is responsible for returning the goods at their own cost and they should obtain a free Certificate of Posting from the Post Office or other proof of posting as if the garment is not received back by Fine Orient then no refund can be given. Until the goods have been handed back to Fine Orient the customer is under an obligation to ensure that the goods are kept safe and in the same condition as they were delivered in with a duty to return the goods to Fine Orient.

Refunds of money

Fine Orient will reimburse any customer who is not satisfied with the goods within 3 days of return.

Non Delivery of goods

If Fine Orient Limited is unable to meet the deadline for the delivery of personalised goods, then it will inform the customer as soon as possible but no later than 7days before the deadline delivery date.

If the consumer does not agree then the contract is cancelled and any monies paid will be returned within 30days. Fine Orient Limited does not use premium rate telephone numbers.

Payment

Fine Orient Limited accepts Visa, MasterCard, Visa Debit and Electron, Switch card, Solo Card, JCB, Maestro, American Express and Diners Club card.

Fine Orient Limited does not accept cash orders but will accept orders made by cheque payable to Fine Orient Limited and posted to The Innovation Centre, Queens Meadow Business Park, Hartlepool, TS25 5TG.
