Are all the products original or limited editions
Most of the products are originals or limited editions. The artist will be commissioned to produce an exact painting etc that you have ordered. However, due to the artistic nature of the product these may differ slightly from those advertised on the web site.
How are they sourced?
Our Directors personally visited the Artist
in the various regions of China to ensure
their authenticity. A signed certificate
is arranged for each product shipped.
How is the quality of the goods checked before they leave China?
FineOrient has one of its Directors based in China to continuously check the quality of the product. All goods are shipped to our office In Beijing and individually inspected before being shipped.
How long will they take to deliver?
The time will depend on the product ordered. For more personalised products this may be up to 12 weeks. However, our UK staff can always be contacted to give you an update on your delivery status two weeks before the due date.
What happens when I place an order?
After you place the order, our UK staff will inform our Chinese staff that the order has been accepted. The order is then sent to the Artist who acknowledges that he has received the order and will produce as stated on the web site.
After you placed the order, we will inform
the Artist to commission the work.
Confirmation of order
For online orders, our staff will inform you via E-mail, that your order has been accepted within 24 hours of you purchasing the product or 48 hours if it placed over the weekend.
For orders placed by post, we will notify you via letter that your order has been received within 24hours.
How much time do I have to cancel that order.
Once the order is placed then we can only allow 14 days for its cancellation.
Due to the nature of the personalised products, once the order is placed, FineOrient can only offer back 50% of the purchase price in all situations and this must be notified within 14 days of placing the order.

Can I view the products anywhere in the UK?
FineOrient do not have any High Street outlets or mail order catalogue. We sell exclusively from our website and because of our lower operating costs we are able to bring you these fabulous products at very reasonable prices.
What happens if the product is damaged?
If the goods are damaged when delivered, we will arrange to pick up the goods and immediately refund the full cost of the purchase.
How can I pay for my goods?
We offer customers several ways to pay for goods:

- Debit Card
- Cheque
Credit/debit cards accepted are: Visa, Visa Debit, Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club card, Switch and Solo.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept cash as payment for orders.
What security policies do you have in place to protect my personal details?
FineOrient protects the customers' personal details using the very latest security software. Internet shopping is now considered as safe as shopping using conventional credit and debit cards. The details you give are scrambled before sending them to any other computer, This way no one is able to read the details before they get to the Payment Service Provider who checks the validity of the card.
FineOrient do not sell or rent information that we get from clients to third parties.
All the information that we hold is done so under the Data Protection Act.
When will I be notified about my delivery?
FineOrient will contact you when your order has arrived in the UK and has been through our stringent quality control system. A date can then be arranged on which to deliver the goods to you. If an order is delayed we will contact you and inform you of any problems and possible delays. Unfortunately due to the manual manufacturing methods involved in the production of our products we cannot chase up orders prior to their expected delivery time.
